Paying towards your loan (members)

Pay the cooperative, upload your receipt, and see the repayment recorded once an officer confirms it.

MembersWeb

Repay your loan by paying into the cooperative's bank account and telling the app about the payment with your receipt. Your loan balance goes down once an officer confirms the money arrived.

Before you start

  • You need an Active or Overdue loan under CooperativesMy Loans.
  • Make the bank transfer first, and keep the receipt as a photo or PDF (up to 5MB).

Your balance doesn't change until it's confirmed

A submitted payment shows as Awaiting confirmation. It is only recorded against your loan when an officer approves it.

Declare a payment

Go to CooperativesMy Loans and find the loan. Select Pay Now (on the next-payment banner, or on an overdue loan).
Check the amount you still owe, and the cooperative's bank account shown in the form.
Enter the Amount you paid — it can't be more than you still owe — and the Date of payment.
Attach your Bank receipt — a JPEG, PNG, GIF or PDF.
Optionally add the Transfer reference and a Note, then select Submit Payment.

What happens next

Your payment appears under My Payments on the same page.

  • Confirmed — the repayment is recorded on your loan and your outstanding balance goes down. If part of your savings is held against the loan, a matching share is released. You get a notification.
  • Not approved — nothing is recorded. The officer's reason is shown next to the payment, and you get a notification.

See Your savings rule and held savings for how savings are released as you repay.
